n-Propyl Acetate is a clear colourless liquid with a pleasant odour. It is sparingly soluble in water and miscible with alcohols, ketones, esters, and hydrocarbons.
Coatings Industry
A solvent of combination with ketones or glycol ethers. Used in solvent and thinner formulation for nitrocellulose lacquers.
Food and Fragrance
It is used as a flavouring agent and perfumery
Other Applications
It is used in natural and synthetic resins, lacquers, plastics, organic synthesis and laboratory agents.
